My buddy Josh will call me every other day or so to chat about the 49ers. Brock Purdy’s ascension; CMC being All World; and the odds of the 49ers winning the Super Bowl in his 49th year.
During our talk I was sent a video of the BlackRock CEO speaking on Bitcoin ETFs. I apologized as it played in the background as it was not a 49er highlight. He mentioned the little bit of crypto he’d been holding onto and that he’d been tempted to sell now that it’s above water. “I get my fantasy football high scorer earnings in BTC,” I shared. And mentioned how I’d implemented ‘collecting’ into my recent music releases. I went on about how I believed in crypto’s potential to do a lot of good for a financial system in distress - via transparency. But conceded my lack of understanding of finance and economics, which ultimately opened up the flood gates about my feelings of uncertainty in general.
